🇫🇷France Paris under siege: As the French prepare for Christmas, their capital is under attack from Kurdish Muslims. The violent rioters are throwing projectiles, destroying streets and cars amid clouds of tear gas. French liberals still insist migration is strength.

Best shows in Paris I can get tickets for at short notice?
Main Post:
Going Tuesday 22nd Nov (tomorrow) till Saturday 26th Nov. Don’t mind what type of show really - music concert, opera, play, dancing, etc. Just looking for recommendations and the best way to get tickets!
Thank you in advance :D
Top Comment: There’s a good website for last minute and discounted tickets billet reduc. Not sure how many offers are in English though
How did you find Paris shows in comparison with others?
Main Post:
So I attented the Saturday 22nd show and I've been thinking about it non-stop.
I had seen Jack twice previously (Amsterdam 2018, Brussels 2019 with The Raconteurs), and I loved both shows immensely. I should say tho, I remember being kinda self-conscious in one of them, thinking I was being too excited jumping around and singing, as people were rather calm. This Paris show though...
It was really good but also kinda really wild? I spent the whole concert getting pushed and squished all the way lol and people around me seemed really excited. I was on 3rd row in the middle and ended almost touching Jack cause people kept bailing out. Ended up with a couple bruises even! Overall loved it lol
So I was just curious whether anybody else found these Paris concerts wilder than normal? Jack posted this yesterday which kinda confirms my suspicious. I'm only curious about what you guys experienced 👀

I wasn't there but I immediately thought the videos in his stories etc looked amazing. Was very surprised to see crowd surfing and it looked like the room was buzzing. I've also experienced some very mild crowds seeing him in the past (I get it's not normally that kind of gig)
Theatre/Cabaret-style entertainment that Parisians actually like?
Main Post:
My partner and I are going to Paris for the first time in April and we absolutely love theatre and immersive experiences. We are interested in seeing something like a cabaret or burlesque show, but a lot of the reviews of the biggies like Moulin Rouge/Crazy Horse/Paradis Latin are underwhelming and it's clear that these are for tourists only and are not at all representative of actual Parisian culture.
We're wondering if there is something else that would fulfill that "spectacle/theatrical" niche but isn't quite as hokey or touristy. (To be fair, we are tourists and may end up just embracing that anyway, but want to see if there is something else more grounded in actual Paris culture).
Relevant context:
- we unfortunately speak very little French (we're taking a class but will not know much by April) but we are happy to not understand everything as long as the vibes are good and the experience doesn't rely solely on language.
- experiences we've enjoyed in the past: Immersive theatre (Sleep No More NYC, Then She Fell NYC, Donkey Show Boston) escape rooms, Drag shows, Broadway shows, Burlesque shows in the U.S.
- we are straight but are open to all experiences including queer-centric ones as long as we are not trespassing where we aren't wanted.
Top Comment: Madame Arthur. It’s burlesque drag show. 1 hour long. Very fun and thé show change ervery week. And after the show you can stay in the club all night long for some dancing and blind test I’d say that even it’s touristic. I found the crazy horse pretty artistic.
